“Something stranger arrives in Hawkins Summer 1985,” Netflix teased. A poster for the new season features Millie Bobby Brown‘s Eleven and Finn Wolfhard‘s Mike Wheeler holding hands. The tagline on the poster reads, “one summer can change everything.”

Get excited!! Stranger Things season two is getting so much closer!!
The hit Netflix show just shared some brand new character posters featuring your favorite characters from season one, and introducing new characters for season two.
The show’s Twitter account debuted the posters with the captions, “We’re going back to Hawkins. A place where the curiosity door never closes. A place where new adventures await us. And it’s only getting stranger.”
Also released was a new teaser for the show, which returns to Netflix just in time for Halloween on October 27!
Stranger Things hasn’t even debuted season 2 yet, but for hard-core fans, it’s tempting to wish the show will go on forever.
Unfortunately (and fortunately, depending on what kind of fan you are) co-star David Harbour revealed in a new interview that it’s not an “open-ended show,” and that it will end in a purposeful way.
“We don’t have an open-ended thing like The Walking Dead,” David told TVLine at Comic-Con. “There is an end to all these characters… We’re going to give you something fun and then we’re going to get out before we’ve worn out our welcome. We have a specific story that we’re going to tell.”
He also revealed that the show runners have told him when they plan for the show to end (though he wouldn’t reveal the information.)
Oftentimes, shows do stay on-air too long because of popular demand and get worse in later seasons. We’re glad this won’t be happening to Stranger Things fans.
Sadie Sink and Dacre Montgomery pose for photos while stopping by some press ops before their Stranger Things panel at 2017 Comic-Con on Saturday (July 22) in San Diego, Calif.
The young actors are the new stars of the hit Netflix show. Sadie was previously seen as a series regular on the NBC show American Odyssey while Dacre is best known for starring in the recent Power Rangers movie.
