Tyler Hoechlin shows off quite a smile while on the set of his show Superman & Lois on Wednesday (June 16) in Vancouver, British Columbia.
The 33-year-old was seen in full Superman costume as he filmed scenes for the season finale with Bitsie Tulloch.

The 33-year-old star of the show wore a completely different super suit than we’ve seen him in before.
Also seen on set that day was his on screen wife, the Lois to his Clarke, Bitsie Tulloch.

Though there’s no new episode of Batwoman tonight (March 7), we still got to see star Javicia Leslie!
The actress made an appearance as a presenter at the 2021 Critics’ Choice Awards, which took place of the regular Sunday night programming on The CW.
Also appearing during the telecast were Superman & Lois stars Tyler Hoechlin and Bitsie Tulloch.
“#Batwoman fans… we’re off tonight! Make sure you tune in to the Critics’ Choice Awards, you might see a familiar Bat,” Javicia shared on Twitter ahead of the ceremony.
If you missed the great news, Javicia isn’t going anywhere as Batwoman/Ryan Wilder as the show received an early season three renewal!
“Season 3 babyyyyy 🦇🦇🦇 I love y’all! #BatTeam #Batwoman,” she wrote on Instagram after the news was announced last month.
Speaking of renewals, Superman & Lois was just picked up for a second season, hours before the second episode aired!
It was also announced that Superman & Lois will be taking a small hiatus later this month…
Superman & Lois will be flying in for another season!
It was JUST announced that the new CW series, which stars Tyler Hoechlin and Bitsie Tulloch in the title roles, has been officially renewed for a second season.
The announcement comes just hours before the second episode of season one airs.
“The phenomenal multiplatform debut of Superman & Lois, which delivered for us in a big way on both a linear and streaming basis, is a testament to the creativity, hard work and dedication of the talented people who worked tirelessly in front of and behind the camera, especially in this challenging environment,†CW President Mark Pedowitz said in a statement, via Variety. “We are thrilled to now have two brand-new bonafide hits in Superman & Lois and Walker, both of which have been renewed for next season along with 11 other of our shows, further positioning us for continued strength and stability for next season.
Superman & Lois had a massive debut last week, with a two hour premiere event. The pilot episode drew in a ton of viewers, and even became one of the most streamed series on The CW ever – with just ONE episode!
Superman & Lois now joins 12 other CW shows that have received early renewals.

According to Deadline, Superman & Lois‘ series premiere earned a “0.4 in the demo and 1.71 million viewers, marking the largest audience for a DC series since the ‘Crisis on Infinite Earths’ crossover episode of The Flash on December 10, 2019.”
Walker premiered earlier this year, also to massive success. It was the most watched series premiere since DC’s Legends of Tomorrow in 2016. The Walker premiere drew in 2.43 million viewers.

Superman & Lois premieres on The CW tonight (February 23)!!
The brand new series will kick off with a two hour premiere, an hour and a half pilot episode followed by a half hour special.
Though Superman & Lois is the latest superhero show to join the roster at The CW, it’s a little different than other shows.
“Whenever you do any of these shows, you want to make them slightly different,†showrunner Todd Helbing told Deadline. “We just approached this as much as we could like a feature — from the aspect ratio to the cinematography to the look to the design of the house and farm. We are competing with shows on cable and streamers…we wanted to be able to do that and offer audiences something of equal quality.â€
The new series also focuses more on the family aspect of Clark Kent (Tyler Hoechlin) and Lois Lane (Bitsie Tulloch), with their sons Jonathan (Jordan Elsass) and Jordan (Alexander Garfin).
“Part of what I am hoping audiences respond to in our show is that this couple — even though she’s this dynamic journalist and even though he is Superman — are incredibly relatable and they are dealing with the same issues that normal people deal with,†Bitsie shared with Deadline.

A brand new teaser trailer was just released for the upcoming new series Superman & Lois!
The new CW show is a spinoff of Supergirl, which is ending this year, and is the latest DC Comics series to join the Arrowverse.
In the new clip, Clark Kent (Tyler Hoechlin) tells his kids, Jonathan (Jordan Elsass) and Jordan (Alexander Garfin), that he is Superman, and they don’t believe him… That is until he shows them his powers.
The upcoming series will give a whole new look on the Superman and Lois characters, and will focus a little more on their family life with their two kids.
