Fifth Harmony Have Cancelled Their Tour Dates in Australia

Oh no! Fifth Harmony has cancelled their tour in Australia and fans are bummed out.

The group — Lauren Jauregui, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane and Ally Brooke — were originally scheduled to kick off their tour in Australia last October, but delayed it until March. Now, tour promoter, TEG Live, has announced the tour will no longer take place.

“The promoter of Fifth Harmony, has regretfully advised, due to necessary scheduling requirements, Fifth Harmony will be unable to proceed with their 2018 Australian Tour,” a statement on the website reads.

Those who did purchase tickets to the show will get a refund.

Fifth Harmony still plans to stop in Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Abu Dhabi, Philippines, and Singapore.

Normani Kordei Opens Up About What Her New Single Means For Fifth Harmony

There have been countless rumors about Fifth Harmony going their separate ways since each of them have started to release solo music.

However, Normani Kordei is saying all of that is bogus and the quartet are still massively supportive of each other in the group and through their solo endeavours.

Speaking with Zane Lowe in a new interview, Normani shared that doing solo things actually helps the group.

“I think that it’s a space that we created amongst the four of us, that nobody else will probably understand,” she shared.

“It’s not easily understood but it’s something that we understand within each other and we’re confident women individually and also together but we do recognize that you know at the end of the day none of us would have these individual opportunities to explore ourselves or to show the world who we are, without each other.”

She adds, “Everything that we’ve been through, I feel like literally it’s us against the world and that’s together and apart. We’ll always have some place to call home which is Fifth Harmony.”

Normani also opened up about her solo music coming up and how excited she is for it.

“I want to tell you guys I’m so excited. I’m trying to, well I don’t need to contain it. I can’t wait for this record to come out. I’m so excited,” she says. “This is the first time I feel like people are actually getting a sense of who I actually am.”

Congrats to Normani Kordei — she was just signed to Stellar Songs!

The Fifth Harmony singer was signed to publishing company Stellar Songs as a songwriter just last week — but before you worry about the girl group breaking up for good — don’t.

Normani has stated in the past that the band will remain together all while they’re exploring solo opportunities.

Bandmate Lauren Jauregui also spoke to Forbes about the discussions the ladies have had.

“We’re all in a space right now where we are giving each other the space to explore ourselves and be honest with each other and open with each other about what we’re doing,” Lauren says.

“Obviously, Fifth Harmony is the number one priority for all of us, and we have a single out now called ‘Por Favor’ and you know there’s a lot of stuff coming up,” she shared. “Next, we’re going on tour around Asia and Australia. And we just got off of one in South America.”

Normani previously signed with her own music manager.

Sam Smith Says He'll Only Sing Karaoke if Fifth Harmony is Involved (Video)

Sam Smith needs the help of Fifth Harmony if he were ever to do karaoke.

The “Stay with Me” crooner shared the fact during his appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday night (February 1).

Sam revealed that he and his band recently visited a karaoke bar, but only they sang, not him.

When Jimmy asked him why, Sam replied, “I hate karaoke,” adding, “I don’t think karaoke works if you can sing.”

“I’d only ever do Fifth Harmony,” he said. “Ever.”

Sam also opened up about what he does on vacation (“eat a lot of cheese” and “drink a lot of alcohol”), an embarrassing story about one of his nights out at a bar, the royal wedding, his latest album The Thrill of It All, and more.

Did Fifth Harmony's Lauren Jauregui Already Sign a Solo Record Deal?

Did Fifth Harmony's Lauren Jauregui Already Sign a Solo Record Deal?

Rumor has it Lauren Jauregui may have signed a solo record deal!

The 21-year-old Fifth Harmony is reportedly signing a deal with Columbia Records, making her the third 5H girl to go solo.

According to Billboard, it was overheard at a Grammy after party that Lauren will be moving from Epic Records to Columbia, both a part of Sony Music.

Back in October, it was announced that Normani Kordei had signed a solo management contract and that new music is on the way for her.

Fifth Harmony is currently working on their own projects, as well as promote the group’s latest album.

“It’s really cool, because we’re branching out to creatively discover ourselves, because we never really got an opportunity to do that since we started this when we were…I was like 16 when I started,” Lauren said back in December. “It’s cool to be able to give each other that space to really explore ourselves individually and grow.”
