Katherine Langford is sending a huge thank you to fans and friends for all the birthday wishes they sent over the weekend.
The Cursed actress, who turned 23 over the weekend, headed to Instagram to she her message.
“4am here – a big belated thank you to everyone for the beautiful birthday wishes – you put the biggest smile on my face 💖,” she wrote.
Katherine added, “Extra thanks to those who donated to @glaad – your generosity was amazing!ðŸ³ï¸â€ðŸŒˆðŸ™ Can’t wait to experience another year with you all ✨x”
If you missed her Instagram Stories, Katherine asked everyone that in lieu of gifts, asked for donations to GLAAD.
“I like them because they’re educational and global – which is so important for awareness, but also because all of you are from different parts of the world, and I always want to do things that are helpful and inclusive to all of you, no matter where you live.”
If you were like us, you ran to the theaters this weekend to see Avengers: Endgame – just like many, many others did, too.
There were a ton of cameos we spotted in the movie, however, Katherine Langford was not one of them.
Months ago, there were rumors that the 13 Reasons Why actress had a small role in the final Infinity Saga film, however, NO ONE SAW HER! So, was she even in it?
Marvel never confirmed that Katherine was going to be in the film though, or she was, and her scenes were cut? Maybe she’ll show up in Blu-ray extras?
Katherine was asked about where she was in the movie during a recent Q&A, and here’s what she said:

The 21-year-old actress opened up in the feature about her new movie, After, and why she didn’t seek out advice from older sister Katherine for her first major project.
“I was flying back and forth between Perth and L.A. for six months to test for a whole bunch of different projects,†she recalls. “[I had] a lot of near misses, including with After, because I was recast a week before filming.”
Josephine continues that “if my first big [role] had been a Netflix show with a lot of hype, then we would’ve had more to share. But I didn’t have time to hear advice, nor did she have time to give it.”
After is out in theaters on April 12th.
Katherine Langford will next star in a new Netflix series titled Cursed and the streaming service just announced that production has begun!
The series is based on a book of the same name and is a re-imagining of the Arthurian legend, told through the eyes of the young woman who would become the Lady of the Lake. The coming-of-age story will explore themes familiar to our own time: the obliteration of the natural world, religious zeal and oppression, senseless war and finding the courage to lead in the face of the impossible.
This is Katherine‘s first big television series following 13 Reasons Why. Filming is taking place in England and Wales.

The 22-year-old 13 Reasons Why actress was joined at the runway presentation by Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists‘ Sofia Carson and Riverdale star Lili Reinhart.
Also in attendance were singer and actress Janelle Monae, Alexa Chung, Nicky Hilton, and Olivia Palermo, with husband Johannes Hueble.
Earlier that weekend, Katherine wished her stylist Molly Dickson a “Happy Birthday” with a sweet Instagram post.
“Happy Birthday to this incredible lady @mollyddickson! One the fiercest, most hardworking humans I know 🙠Thank you for always making me look and feel amazing, and for being on this journey every step of the way – from my first premiere, to the golden globes and Met Gala, with press and shows in between – I can’t wait for all the amazing adventures in store ✨ Thank you for showing me fashion through your eyes, and for so many magical moments 👠💅✨,” she captioned a series of photos.

The 22-year-old actress has been preparing for her role in Cursed by hitting the gym to practice her battle skills.

Katherine took to her Instagram to share a cool photo, where a sword can be seen placed beside her.
“Fight like a girl?..oh, I will âš”ï¸ #Cursed,” Katherine captioned the pic.
Cursed is a spin on the legend of King Arthur that centers on a teenage heroine with a mysterious gift and is destined to become the powerful Lady of the Lake.
The series does not yet have a release date but the book based on Cursed will be published in fall 2019.
Katherine Langford is connecting with her fans on a deeper level in her newest Instagram post.
After reading a newspaper article about the effects of social media, the 13 Reasons Why actress made a big promise to her fans, vowing to be 100% her, all the time.
“I saw this this morning and it broke my heart 💔 …as someone who needed convincing to be on social media, I’ve definitely learned to appreciate how it’s brought me closer to fans and closer to people from different parts of the world…that being said; I also see in a lot of you how much pressure and toxicity it can create,” she wrote.
Katherine continued, “For what it’s worth; peoples lives don’t look like what they post (I know we all know that subconsciously anyway, but I’m saying it for emphasis) and if it means anything; I have, and will continue to always try and be as real as possible with you all on here (even if that doesn’t make me the grooviest or most followed kid on Instagram I don’t really give a f***).”
“You are important and that’s what I care about, and if someone hasn’t already told you today – you are FIERCE just the way you are.”
