Looks like KJ Apa has some new ink!
The 23-year-old actor shared an Instagram story of tattoo artist Mike DeVries wiping down a fresh tat on his side.
The tat appears to look like a tooth with a weird face on the inside. Check it out in the gallery!
KJ is currently in the process of filming the new quarantine-themed movie Songbird, where he plays a delivery man.
Sofia Carson plays KJ‘s girlfriend in the Michael Bay-produced film, which Jenna Ortega is also a part of!
In case you missed it, KJ recently got a piece of metal stuck in his eye and had to have a friend help him get it removed in time for “work tomorrow.” See the video right here.
Ouch! KJ Apa got a piece of metal stuck in his eyeball and he broke down in tears after he finally got it out… and it was all caught on video.
The 23-year-old Riverdale actor posted a two-minute video on social media in which his friend and hairstylist Jason Schneidman helps him remove the piece of metal from his eye.
“Bro, it’s stuck in there, bro. It’s really stuck,” KJ said at one point while looking in the mirror. “I have to work tomorrow.”
KJ ended up using a cotton swab to get the shard out of his eye. When his friends confirmed that the shard was removed, he broke down.
“a shard of metal got stuck in my eyeball,” he captioned the post, which you can see below.

Looks like KJ Apa might have to shave his beard soon!
It was just announced that the 23-year-old Riverdale star and Sofia Carson have joined the cast of the film Songbird.
The movie takes place two years into the future, as a coronavirus pandemic lockdown has been re-implemented after a more serious virus continues to mutate, leading to the city being divided into haves and have nots.
KJ will play an who has a rare immunity, a delivery man who delivers goods and hope throughout the city, while Sofia will play his girlfriend, locked within her home, and the couple have no ability to physically be together. To be with the one he loves, our hero must overcome martial law, murderous vigilantes and a powerful, well connected family, helmed by a matriarch (Demi Moore) who will stop at nothing to protect her family and maintain her way of life.
In case you missed it, this other former Disney Channel star has also been cast in the movie, which started principal photography last week in Los Angeles.
KJ Apa is now on TikTok!
The 23-year-old Riverdale actor has found a new way to keep himself busy before the show picks back up on filming.
KJ is the latest celeb to join the popular app and he’s already on his second username, and it’s very unique!

KJ also took to his Instagram story to talk about how much he’s loving the app.

KJ‘s scruffy, new look is definitely a big change from his usual clean-shaven and bright red hair look that he sports while filming Riverdale.
After posting his latest selfie, fans reacted to KJ‘s beard, and they had very mixed feelings.
“Ohh dear…I like u better without the beard,†one fan commented on the photo. Another wrote, “KJ why do you look like that can u shave please this is not my barchie king.â€
On the other hand, some fans are loving KJ‘s scruffy look, with one fan writing, “Love that beard” as another wrote, “KJ Apa is sexy anyway with or without a beard with or without chest hair he gets all the rights 🤰ðŸ½.â€
