Auli’i Cravalho just can’t stop smiling while arriving for Variety’s 2019 Power of Young Hollywood event held at The H Club Los Angeles on Tuesday night (August 6) in Los Angeles.

The 18-year-old actress met up with fellow Ariel, Halle Bailey, inside the annual party.

Auli’i will star in ABC’s live concert of the classic movie.

Halle‘s grown-ish co-stars Chloe Bailey, Diggy Simmons, and Trevor Jackson were also at the party, along with Ajiona Alexus, Marsai Martin, Dumbo‘s Nico Parker, model Bella Harris, Pokemon stars Kathryn Newton and Justice Smith and Euphoria‘s Hunter Schafer and Storm Reid.

Camila Cabello looks pretty in a pink dress as she attends Variety’s 2019 Power of Young Hollywood party on Tuesday night (August 6) at the H Club in Los Angeles.

The 22-year-old singer walked the red carpet alongside Cole Sprouse and The Little Mermaid star Halle Bailey and big sister Chloe Bailey.

Nico Parker looks gorgeous while walking the red carpet at the premiere of her movie Dumbo on Thursday (March 21) at the Curzon Mayfair in London, England.

The 14-year-old actress was joined by her actress mom Thandie Newton and director dad Ol Parker.

Also at the premiere were Nico‘s co-stars Eva Green, Colin Farrell, Danny DeVito, and Finley Hobbins, as well as director Tim Burton with his two kids.

Nico, on refusing to be told that her way of seeing the world is somehow incorrect just because she’s young: “For young people, it’s often said that we’re always on our phones, and we’re not aware of our surroundings, and we’re not aware of what’s going on in the world. It’s the complete opposite.”

Marsai, the youngest Hollywood executive producer in history, on becoming more confident thanks to her acting and producing experience: “The first time I was in Universal, I was 10, and I [was wearing] this blazer. Now, it’s like I come in with sweats with a hoodie, and I’m just like, ‘So, here’s what’s going down guys.’”

Nico, on how her mother, actor Thandie Newton, is helping her learn to be aware of the pitfalls of fame and how situations can become dangerous or manipulative, especially for young women: “[My mom] is very ‘mama bear’ over me. Just the fact that she’s been through things herself, it also teaches me what situations I can avoid, or what situations that I can stay in.”

Marsai, on what she could tell her 9-year-old self, learning to speak up for herself, and her plan to “change the normal”: “What you say matters, and your voice is heard…. [Little] made me feel like this can happen. It wasn’t impossible. We definitely need more of that in the industry. Of course, the more I keep creating, the more that will probably happen.”

The 14-year-old actress will be starring in the new movie Dumbo and she was seen stepping out for an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Monday (March 18) in New York City.

In a new interview, Nico opened up about one of her dream roles.

“‘I should be Spider-Man,’ that was my thought when I saw [Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse],” she jokingly said, though THR notes that she was also very serious. “I was like, ‘They should call me. They should just get in touch.’”
