Maitreyi Ramakrishnan is a winner!

The 18-year-old actress attended the 2020 E! People’s Choice Awards on Sunday (November 15) where her show Never Have I Ever won Comedy Show of 2020.

“Thank you so much for believing in us,” Maitreyi said while accept the award. “It’s amazing to see how the show connected with people of color, LGBTQIA+, immigrant communities and more from all around the world.”

Joining Maitreyi on stage was Mindy Kaling, who created the comedy show for Netflix.

Over the summer, it was announced that Never Have I Ever had been renewed for a second season.

The 2020 People’s Choice Awards have come to an end!

Demi Lovato served as host for the event, which aired live from The Barker Hangar on Sunday evening (November 15) in Santa Monica, Calif.

During her opening monologue, the singer dished on things she did this year, and joked about her engagement.

Justin Bieber took the stage to perform his songs “Lonely” and “Holy,” and Chloe x Halle put on quite the performance of their song “Ungodly Hour.”

BTS were big winners of the night, taking home four awards in the music categories, including Song of 2020 and Album of 2020.

Demi Lovato is heading back to the People’s Choice Awards, this time as host!

The 28-year-old five time PCA winner revealed the exciting news in a cute Twitter exchange.

“We can keep a secret could you, @ddlovato? Any plans on Sunday, November 15th?” E! News tweeted, referencing her song “Cool For The Summer.”

“idk… maybe hosting @peopleschoice?!?!? 😝🥰💕 #PCAs,” Demi replied.

“Cool for the Summer ✔️. Host for the #PCAs ✔️,” E! quote tweeted Demi‘s reply.

“Demi Lovato is an international icon and we cannot wait for her to host the 2020 E! People’s Choice Awards,” Jen Neal, General Manager of E! News, Live Events & Lifestyle Digital, said in a statement. “Her authentic presence and dynamic talents will make for an unforgettable night.”

The 2020 People’s Choice Awards will be airing on November 15th on E!.

While Demi doesn’t have any nominations this year, the Netflix film she was in this summer, Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga, is up for Comedy Movie of 2020.

The nominations for the 2020 E! People’s Choice Awards have been revealed!

This year’s list includes multiple nominations for the cast of Riverdale, Joey King, Noah Centineo, and some of your fave TikTok stars.

Camila Mendes, KJ Apa, Lili Reinhart, and Cole Sprouse are all up for acting awards for Riverdale and their movies.

Joey is up for Comedy Movie Star of 2020, while The Kissing Booth 2 is up for Comedy Movie of 2020.

Vanessa Hudgens is nominated for two categories for her role in Bad Boys For Life – Action Movie Star and Female Movie Star of 2020!

Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, BTS and Taylor Swift are all up for multiple music awards this year.

In the Pop Culture/Social Stars categories, Addison Rae, James Charles, David Dobrik, Charli D’Amelio and Dixie D’Amelio are all competing for awards.

The 2020 E! People’s Choice Awards will air live on E! on Sunday, Nov. 15 at 9pm and you can vote RIGHT HERE!

The 23-year-old Vlog Squad member took home the Social Star of 2019 award at the ceremony!

“I JUST WON A PEOPLES CHOICE AWARD. Guys I cannot say this enough. This job is out of a dream. The proper words to explain my gratitude do not exist. Love y’all 🥳 THANK YOU THANK YOU,” David shared on Instagram.

Also winning a social media award that night was Bretman Rock, who won The Beauty Influencer of 2019.

Social queens Colleen Ballinger, Andrea Russett and Daisy Marquez were also in attendance at the event.

FYI: Bretman is wearing a custom Michael Ngo outfit, Louis Vuitton boots and XIV jewelry.

Kelsea Ballerini and Alessia Cara hit the stage for their performances at the 2019 E! People’s Choice Awards on Sunday (November 10) at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.

Alessia was first up during the show and she performed her song “Rooting For You.” Later in the night, Kelsea performed her brand new song “club” for the crowd. You can watch the videos here!

It was a big night for the cast of After at the 2019 E! People’s Choice Awards, though it was sadly a blink or you’ll miss it moment for fans who were watching at home.

The movie picked up the award for The Drama Movie of 2019 at the awards show on Sunday (November 10) at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.

Josephine Langford, Dylan Arnold, Inanna Sarkis, and Samuel Larsen were all there to accept the prize. The category was unfortunately not announced from the stage and the stars had to wave to the camera while a voiceover announcer revealed they won.

After beat out films that are getting Oscar buzz and some other blockbusters, like Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Rocketman, Five Feet Apart, Glass, Us, and Triple Frontier.
