Shailene Woodley gets into character in a blue peacoat while shooting a roadside scene for her new HBO show Big Little Lies on Wednesday (January 27) in Monterey, Calif.
The 24-year-old actress shook hands with co-star Reese Witherspoon as they filmed near the gorgeous ocean line.
The movie is based on Liane Moriarty‘s 2014 novel of the same name, which is described as a “darkly comic drama centering on three mothers of kindergartners whose apparently perfect lives unravel to the point of murder,” according to Variety.
