Skylar Stecker wows in an emerald green gown while arriving at the 2019 Last Chance for Animals Anniversary Gala held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel over the weekend in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The 17-year-old singer walked the red carpet ahead of the event, showing off the deep back of the dress.
“Suited up,” Skylar captioned on her Instagram, showing off her glam look ahead of the gala.
Last Chance for Animals is an international, non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating animal exploitation through education, investigations, legislation, and media attention.

The 17-year-old singer shows what it was like to start her music career over with her new album Redemption, and follows her life in the days leading up to the album release.
“I started pursuing a music career when I was nine years old. I got signed to a major label when I was thirteen. And when I was sixteen, I decided to rip it all down and start over. And, this is my redemption,†she says in the beginning of the series.

The 16-year-old singer just dropped her full-length debut album, Redemption.
“I just felt like the whole album, all the songs, no matter if they’re about love, or sad, or if angry, they all have this self-confidence/empowerment to them..the undertone of that,” Skylar shared during her interview. “I just felt that word, #Redemption, kind of summed it up all together perfectly.”
She also shared a big thank you to fans on her Instagram for their never ending support.
“THANK YOU to all my amaaaziiinggg and incredible fans! Thank you for sticking by me through the years & for your endless love and support. You are the reason I get to do what I love everyday. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Hope you can all relate to these songs & the messages in them.”
Skylar Stecker is blessing us early in 2019 – by dropping the lead single off her new album, Redemption.
The album will be out on March 15th, and when you pre-order on iTunes, you’ll automatically get the acoustic version of “Don’t Test Me”.
“When people use the word ‘redemption,’ it’s usually in the context of ‘wanting redemption,’ or ‘waiting for redemption,’ but what I say in the song is: ‘I’ll be my own redemption’….I’m not going to sit around and wait for things to happen for me,†Skylar shared about the inspiration behind the album and song.
She added, “Instead, I am choosing to stay positive, work hard and push forward regardless of what’s going on around me.â€
