So many shows are being rebooted or have revivals coming out this year!
Shows that are making a comeback include Gossip Girl, The 4400, Kung Fu, Powerpuff Girls, Head of the Class and more.
With all these shows making comebacks and returning with either a whole new cast or even with the original cast (like the Gilmore Girls revival on Netflix), we are wondering which shows JJJ readers would want to see return!
We’ve gathered a list of TV series in the Teen/Young Adult genre that were canceled after one season, two seasons, or even shows that just ended after multiple seasons. Those include the fan favorite Teen Wolf, Scream Queens, Katy Keene and Famous In Love.
While we have ten shows listed, if you’re not that interested in any of them, or perhaps there’s another Teen/YA show that you really want to return, we highly encourage you to write in your own answer!

Everyone, including Sasha Pieterse, was upset that Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists was cancelled.
The 23-year-old actress and author chatted with ET about the series ending prematurely and shared that she “would have loved more closure for the fans and more answers for me.”
“I don’t know who killed Nolan. I know everybody has Emison questions, so I think what I’ve decided is to answer them myself,” Sasha says.
Sasha also opened up about what the future was for Alison and her ex, Emily, or if they would’ve gotten back together at all. In her mind, they did!
“They’ve started fresh and are raising the kids somewhere and are happy,” she shared. “I feel like Alison would have eventually gone back and taught at Hollis [College] and kind of just finally lived a more peaceful life and found herself better.”
Bring The Perfectionists back just for this!
Sasha Pieterse and Janel Parrish are bidding farewell to Pretty Little Liars following news of The Perfectionists‘ cancellation.
The co-stars took to social media on Friday (September 27) to share their thoughts.
“Ali, you and me have sure been through a lot,” Sasha wrote to her character Alison along with a slideshow of photos on Instagram. “I want you to know how proud I am of how much you’ve grown. Your perseverance and fierce personality has and will always be with me. I know you are finally happy at home with Em and the kids. Kiss them for me! Xo, S #endofapllera #prettylittleliars #emison #plltheperfectionists.”
“Thank you #PLL fans for always always always standing by us,” Sasha Pieterse added on Twitter. “You are THE BEST fandom. I love you to the moon and back â™¥ï¸ I believe #Emison is united and stronger than ever 😉.”
“We love you guys. Thank you. â¤ï¸ðŸ’•,” Janel tweeted.
Janel Parrish also captioned an Instagram photo of herself in a swimsuit in Hawaii, “Onward and upward 🤙ðŸ».”

Well, we probably all saw this coming…Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists has officially been cancelled.
Variety reports that Freeform has decided to not renew the spinoff series for a second season.
Sasha Pieterse, Janel Parrish, Sofia Carson, Sydney Park, Eli Brown, Hayley Erin, Graeme Thomas King and Kelly Rutherford all starred in the series, which centered on three college friends, who struggled with the stress of being overachievers in the picturesque town of Beacon Heights on top of trying to solve the murder of Nolan Hotchkiss.
Sydney Park is fangirling for Janel Parrish!
The 21-year-old Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists actress showed her support for her 30-year-old co-star’s new theater show, The Last Five Years, in an Instagram post Sunday (June 30).
“What an incredible show last night @janelparrish and @skittishkid!!” Sydney wrote. “Thanks for having us. 🥰â¤ï¸ I love you, J. #TheLastFiveYears”
The Last Five Years is a musical being performed at The Actors Company in Los Angeles, Calif. The show’s producers describe The Last Five Years as an “extraordinary multisensory experience.”
Janel stars in the show alongside 39-year-old Friday Night Lights actor Scott Porter.

Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists has one very mysterious character, much like PLL‘s A – The Professor.
But who is The Professor, are they going to be around for the entire series, and what’s next with the experiment?
Creator I Marlene King is dishing on the second phase of the experiment.
“In phase 2, The Professor has taken ownership of the experiment and it can be much more interactive with our characters. Because he or she has that footage to use over the Perfectionists and the PLLs, they have to participate, they have no choice. The next part of the experiment is going to be much more interactive,” she told EW.
She also dished that we could be finding out who The Professor is sooner rather than later.
“I don’t think it’s a series-long mystery, but it will definitely be tied in with solving the mystery of who killed Nolan, so those two mysteries will come together,” Marlene added.
As for who The Professor is, Marlene said, “I will not say that it’s definitely a professor and I’m glad you asked because I love that final tag scene. But it is living in the world of the professor. And the person is the professor of this experiment for sure.”
Let’s hope that The Perfectionists in fact gets a second season so we can learn more about The Professor.
