Kaitlyn Dever wears a pair of bold yellow, plaid pants while attending the premiere of her new film Them That Follow at Eccles Center Theatre during the 2019 Sundance Film Festival on Sunday (January 27) in Park City, Utah.
The 22-year-old actress was joined by her co-stars Thomas Mann, Alice Englert, Jim Gaffigan, Lewis Pullman, and Walton Goggins.
Also in attendance was Gerard Butler, who serves as a producer on the thriller, as well as co-writers/directors Dan Madison Savage and Britt Poulton.
Them That Follow is “set deep in the wilds of Appalachia, where believers handle death-dealing snakes to prove themselves before God, Them That Follow tells the story of a pastor’s daughter who holds a secret that threatens to tear her community apart.”
Who remembers Beautiful Creatures?
The film that premiered about four years ago has ignited major careers for the four young stars — and a brand new movie is bringing two of them back together.
Alice Englert, who played Lena, and Thomas Mann, who played Link, will be starring together again in a new flick called Them That Follow, Deadline reports.
It’s a dramatic thriller set deep in the wilds of Appalachia, where a Pentecostal pastor, Lemuel Childs, and his believers handle venomous snakes to prove themselves before God.
Focusing on Lemuel’s daughter, Mara (Englert), she holds a secret that threatens to tear the church apart: her romantic past with a nonbeliever, Augie (Mann).
As Mara’s wedding to a devoted follower looms, she must decide whether or not to trust the steely matriarch of their community, Hope (Olivia Colman), with her heart and life at stake.
Them That Follow will start shooting in Ohio this coming October.
Chloe Moretz just unveiled a new Brain on Fire still with Thomas Mann on her Instagram.
The image shows the actress looking up at Thomas, who seems to be holding her head in place.
Brain on Fire centers on a young woman battling a terrifying autoimmune disease that attacks her brain and causes hallucinations, paranoia and psychotic violent outbursts.
It’s only with the support of family, friends and the last-minute intervention of a diligent doctor that she’s properly diagnosed.
“You get to kind of break a lot of stereotypes that surround people with illnesses,” Chloe once said about the film. “I think above all, it’s more than a movie about illness, it’s a story about labelling and mislabelling, and misunderstanding and how far a misunderstanding can go.”
While there’s no set release date for Brain on Fire in the US, we hope to get one soon!
Chloe is also pictured leaving her gym after a workout in Los Angeles this week.
