Brandon Flynn gives Ajiona Alexus a hug in this behind-the-scenes pic from the new season of 13 Reasons Why.
The new season goes live on Netflix on Friday, May 18th, and Ajiona opened up more about what fans can expect from the series and just what the polaroids mean for Liberty High.
“Like they say, there’s always two sides, and in this case, 13 sides, to a story,†she shared with IBT Times. “They’re going to show you people telling different parts of where they’re coming from and where they were at certain situations and how it affected them and how they envision things were happening at the time when they happened.â€
The polaroids are going to be a big part of the story, especially when they contradict everything that the characters are saying.
“The photos are definitely, a hundred percent, kind of leading the show, in a way,†Ajiona adds. “They’re going to show you things that expose the truth, ‘cause like they say, pictures can’t really lie.”
“He [Tyler] captured so many moments from behind-the-scenes that people didn’t think was happening or being seen.â€

Alisha Boe, Anne Winters and Ajiona Alexus step out in style for the Netflix FYSee Kick Off Party held at Raleigh Studios on Sunday night (May 6) in Los Angeles.
The three 13 Reasons Why stars joined a ton of their cast mates at the event, including Steven Silver, Miles Heizer, Tommy Dorfman, and Ross Butler.

Ajiona Alexus is opening up about what fans can expect with the upcoming second season of 13 Reasons Why, and just where her character, Sheri, is now.
“I can tell you that my character, Sheri, she was a little cheerleader, pretty and cute all the time — but this season, you’re going to see another side of her,” the 22-year-old actress shared with TooFab in a new interview.
She adds, “Something about Sheri that you’ll also see is she’s always cared about other people, and she’s always trying to do the right thing.”
“You’ll see all sides of the spectrum,” Ajiona continued in another interview with ET about the serial sexual assault storyline. “When it comes to someone being sexual abused, there are so many people involved and are affected by it.”
She adds, “It’s smart how they’re handling this and showing other people’s point-of-views of how they’re being corrupted and how it interferes with their lifestyle.”
13 Reasons Why is back on May 18th on Netflix.

Ajiona Alexus slays the red carpet at the 2017 Emmy Awards held at the Microsoft Theater on Sunday (September 17) in Los Angeles.
The 13 Reasons Why actress, who stars as Sheri on the Netflix show, walked the red carpet in a stunning white pantsuit, with a long train.
Joining Ajiona from the controversial series was Brandon Flynn, who stars as Justin Foley.
