Hayley Kiyoko and Taylor Swift just teamed up – and surprised a whole crowd!
The 27-year-old “Feelings” singer-songwriter shocked the audience at the 2018 Ally Coalition Talent Show by inviting the 28-year-old “Look What You Made Me Do” singer to the stage on Wednesday night (December 5) in New York City.

“I have a special guest here with me tonight. She just got signed to Universal and it’s her first time performing at a town hall. I want you guys to really be nice. She’s really nervous. Really give her a warm welcome…please welcome Taylor Swift!” Hayley reported told the crowd, which quickly erupted in cheers.
Together, the two sang an acoustic version of Taylor‘s hit “Delicate” at the event, which raises funds and advocates for homeless and at-risk LGBTQ youth.

Hayley Kiyoko is opening up about being a member of the LGBTQ community in the new issue of Gay Times‘ December 2018 issue, in stores globally on November 30.
Here is what the 27-year-old singer had to share with the mag:
On continuing to be an inclusive community: “As people we all have hopes and aspirations, we all wanted to be treated equally. That’s still not the case. Whether it’s gender, race, sexuality, there’s still so much room to do more. So we have to stay aware and vocal. If you’re vocal and brave, then someone else will also be vocal and brave. We need leaders, and we need people to stand up.â€
On being a part of the LGBTQ community and reaching out to her queer fans: “It’s really empowering. It makes me emotional… We all go through tough times accepting ourselves and to be able to know so many people accept me for who I am – I just feel like we all want that validation and to be able to love yourself. You’re wanting people to approve so then you can feel free to be who you are. My fans are able to give me that, and I try to give them that energy straight back to them – give them that space to love themselves, and to feel open and free.â€
On her performance with Taylor Swift: “It was a really touching moment to have someone of her status to validate my work, and give me a stamp of approval.â€

The next night, the 23-year-old singer took her show to Manchester Academy – where backstage, she saw two fans get engaged again!
YouTuber Jesy Rae-Smith proposed to her girlfriend Frankie Phillips earlier this year, but Frankie decided to propose to Jesy at the concert, right in front of Hayley.
“Hang on, we’re having a moment here,” Hayley is heard saying in the video, stopping staff from interrupting the moment.

The 27-year-old “What I Need” singer snapped a photo with the designer himself, and sat front row with fellow singer Kiana Ledé.
Hayley took to Twitter later that night to open up about her experience at her first fashion week.
“I’m at my first fashion week and I had a hard time tonight. Don’t let anyone make you feel less than just because they don’t know who you are or what you are worth. I felt like that tonight, and it made me crumble,” she wrote.
“I know it’s hard to stay strong, we are only human. We want to be treated w/ respect and an open heart. I just want to remind you that only YOU know your journey. YOU can validate that journey & don’t let ANYONE take that away from you. Or make you feel less than. You are AWESOME,” Hayley continued.
“I’m so thankful for my fans, and this journey we have. Nobody can take away that hard work. You guys are what I care about. People will know our journey soon. You are worthy of kindness. I will always do my best to give you that,” she added.

They were joined by Presley‘s girlfriend Charlotte D’Alessio, Katherine McNamara, Halle Bailey, Justine Skye, Ajiona Alexus, Hart Denton, Larsen Thompson, and Daniella Perkins.
Earlier this week, Kaia hit the runway at Tom Ford’s fashion show.
