We’re so bummed not to have a new Young Sheldon tonight.
However, Raegan Revord did leave us with a little gem about bonding with her on-screen twin Iain Armitage in a new interview.
When asked about how the duo get along off screen, Raegan shared that it’s great.
“We have so many things in common! We both love our stuffies, musicals, animals, rocks,” she gushed, and added, “When we aren’t filming, the stage becomes like a big playground for us. We have so much fun together.”
Raegan also opened up about how she got the part of Missy in the CBS series.
“I actually was auditioning for other stuff because it was the pilot season. I think I went to producer sessions for two other pilots, but I couldn’t stop asking my mom about the Young Sheldon pilot,” she says. “My agent and manager submitted me for the role and I went on to read for it. I didn’t get a callback! I remember one of my friends did and I was bummed because I really wanted to book the role of Missy! But then the email came in that I got a callback and from then on it was crazy.”
“I went back so many times. Each time I went back, there would be more people in the room.,” Raegan recalled. “I got to test with one of my good friends. That made it more fun and took a lot of my nerves away. Waiting to hear if I booked or not was the hardest part!”

Here’s what the Young Sheldon star had to share with the mag:
On Freddie Mercury being his favorite artist but not being able to see Bohemian Rhapsody: “I have not. I think it’s, like, PG-13. I guess I’m gonna watch the appropriate parts.â€
On wanting to grow up so he can get a “fire walletâ€: “It’s almost like a prank. Like, you go up to a cashier at some place, and you can have two wallets with it. You take out your fake fire wallet, it looks like a real wallet, and you open it and you can push a button on the side that makes it set on fire. (He says his mom will get it for him when he’s 18)…Once I get my fire wallet, then my life’s work is complete. Then I can go to college; I can do whatever. I’m gonna save all my weird things that I want to do, like skydiving, college, eating lemons while eating pickles, for after I get my fire wallet.â€
On if it’s hard to manage being a TV star and going to school: “As long as you try your hardest and try to have a good work ethic and know that you’re very lucky to be here doing whatever you do, whether it’s working at some office job or being on the set of a show like Young Sheldon—whatever you do—you’re lucky to have it. There are some jobs that are considered, like, not a lot of people want to do. Like, for instance, janitoring. Or jani-TOR-ing? Being a janitor. But as long as you come into your workplace with a smile and be super happy and be the best janitor you can be, you’re gonna have a great life and a great day and a great everything.â€

The 18-year-old Zombies actress was joined by a ton of her peers, including Young Sheldon stars Iain Armitage and Raegan Revord, who got a pic with Santa Claus.
Cameron Monaghan, Joel Courtney, Logan Shroyer, Danielle MacDonald, Carter Jenkins, Sam Tsui, Steven R. McQueen, Aubrey Anderson-Emmons and Sharna Burgess were also at the party.
Guests enjoyed an afternoon of holiday treats and participated in a variety of festive themed activities including ornament decorating, greeting card designing, plus a cookie decorating station hosted in partnership with Bird Bakery.

The Alexa & Katie actress guest stars on the popular sitcom as Veronica, a rebellious teenage girl that Sheldon is tutoring, who catches the eye of his older brother, Georgie (Montana Jordan).
Meanwhile in the episode, titled “Seven Deadly Sins and a Small Carl Sagan”, Mary (Zoe Perry) clashes with Sheldon’s (Iain Armitage) drama teacher (Jason Alexander) over plans for a Halloween fundraiser for the church.
