Who’s ready for the premiere of The Swap tonight on Disney Channel?!

In the flick, Ellie O’Brien (Peyton List) is trying to juggle rhythmic gymnastics and troubles with her best friend. Meanwhile, classmate Jack Malloy (Jacob Bertrand) is struggling to live up to his brothers’ hockey-star legacies and his dad’s high expectations and tough-love approach. When a text argument about whose life is easier gets out of hand, Ellie and Jack trigger an unexplainable real-life swap.

As each tries to navigate the other’s life, hilarity ensues when Ellie (as Jack) learns about brotherly bonding and hockey lingo, while Jack (as Ellie) has to decipher girl code and experiences a spa day. With a rhythmic gymnastics championship and a spot on the varsity hockey team on the line, they must figure out how to get back in their own bodies before the swap becomes permanent.

As they are forced to literally walk in each other’s shoes, they gain empathy for one another and learn valuable lessons about their own lives.

Claire Rankin, Darrin Rose, Callan Potter, Jesse Bostick, Kiana Madeira, Eliana Jones, Devyn Nekoda, Kolton Stewart and James Godfrey also star in the movie, premiering TONIGHT, October 7th @ 8PM ET/PT on Disney Channel

Peyton List and Jacob Bertrand hit the carpet together at the premiere of their new Disney Channel Original Movie, The Swap, at Arclight Theatre on Wednesday night (October 5) in Los Angeles.

The two stars of the upcoming movie were joined by Peyton‘s real life bro, Spencer, and her on-screen bro, Karan Brar, plus Kevin Quinn, Trinitee Stokes, Gus Kamp, Sophie Reynolds and Tiffany Espensen.

Yara Shahidi, Rico Rodriguez, McKaley Miller, Devyn Nekoda, singer Diamond White, rhythmic gymnast Nastasya Generalova, and Sarah Gilman also came out for the premiere.

The Swap premieres Friday, October 7th @ 8PM ET/PT on Disney Channel.

The 16-year-old Kirby Buckets star is starring in the new Disney Channel Original Movie, The Swap, which premieres this Friday, October 7.

The DCOM follow Ellie O’Brien (Peyton List), who is trying to juggle rhythmic gymnastics and troubles with her best friend.

“The Swap is a great film, with an awesome cast and crew behind it,” Jacob told JJJ. “It was definitely an experience switching gender roles – make sure you tune this Friday!”

Ross Lynch sticks close to girlfriend Courtney Eaton while arriving at Knott’s Scary Farm 2016 on Friday night (September 30) in Los Angeles.

The Swap is part of Disney Channel’s Halloween-themed “Monstober” programming event.

Jacob Bertrand tries to put the blame on Peyton List after shooting a puck into a car in the first teaser for their upcoming DCOM, The Swap.

Based on the book by Megan Shull, and follows a rhythmic gymnast (List) with a pending make-it-or-break-it competition and the youngest son (Bertrand) in a hockey family, who’s vying for a varsity spot on his school team.

When their paths unexpectedly cross, a simple text results in them actually swapping bodies.
