The trailer for the upcoming sequel to Sing is finally here!
Sing 2 will arrive in theaters this Christmas, with returning voice cast Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Scarlett Johansson, Taron Egerton, Tori Kelly and Nick Kroll.
In the just released trailer, Taron belts out Shawn Mendes‘ “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back,” which is also played throughout the teaser.

The animated film sequel debuted the official poster, release date and which famous musicians have joined the cast.
Here’s a synopsis: Buster and his cast have turned the New Moon Theater into a local hit, but Buster has his eyes on a bigger prize: Debuting a new show at the Crystal Tower Theater in glamorous Redshore City.
But with no connections, Buster and his cast—including harried mother pig Rosita, rocker porcupine Ash, earnest gorilla Johnny, shy elephant Meena and, of course, porcine provocateur extraordinaire Gunter — have to sneak their way into the world-famous Crystal Entertainment offices, run by a ruthless mogul wolf named Jimmy Crystal.
In a desperate attempt to get Mr. Crystal’s attention, Gunter spontaneously pitches an outrageous idea that Buster quickly runs with, promising that their new show will star lion rock legend Clay Calloway. Problem is, Buster has never met Clay, an artist who shut himself away from the world more than a decade ago after the loss of his wife and hasn’t been seen since.
As Gunter helps Buster dream up an out-of-this-world theatrical masterpiece, and the pressure (and sinister threats) from Mr. Crystal mount, Buster embarks on a quest to find Clay and persuade him to return to the stage. What begins as Buster’s dream of big-time success becomes an emotional reminder of the power of music to heal even the most broken heart.
Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Scarlett Johansson, Taron Egerton, Tori Kelly and Nick Kroll all return to voice their respective characters, with music stars Bono, Halsey and Pharrell, as well as Bobby Cannavale, Letitia Wright, Eric Andre and Chelsea Peretti joining the cast!
Sing 2 will be out in theaters on December 22, 2021.
Zac Efron hits the red carpet at the premiere of The Beach Bum on Thursday night (March 28) at the ArcLight Cinema in Hollywood, Calif.
The 31-year-old actor looked handsome in a blue suit as he stepped out for the premiere of his new movie.

One of the movies we can’t wait to see this holiday season is definitely Sing and we are in love with the final trailer that was just released!
The movie features a star-studded cast, including singer Tori Kelly and Kingsman‘s Taron Egerton, and over 85 hit songs that will have you singing throughout the movie.
The animated flick is set in a world like ours but entirely inhabited by animals and follows the world’s greatest singing competition, launched to restore a once-grand theater that has fallen on hard times.
Reese Witherspoon, Matthew McConaughey, and Scarlett Johansson also lent their voice talents to the movie!
Joe Jonas and his band DNCE look fierce in front on the camera while making an appearance on The Social talk show on Thursday (January 21) in Toronto, Canada.
The 26-year-old singer and the group were presented with an unusual gift while on the show – a cake with Matthew McConaughey‘s face on it!

The ladies of the talk show explained that the cake was in honor of the group’s hit “Cake By the Ocean” and their love of the actor.
“Because everyone needs a #mcconaughey cake,” Joe wrote on his Instagram.
