We all fell in love with Nick Robinson in his new movie Love, Simon and now he is featured on the cover of the latest issue of Hero magazine.
Here is what the 22-year-old actor had to share with the mag:
On the impact of Love, Simon: “The mainstream nature of this movie is what makes it radical. I think that a movie like this, it’s broadness and it’s mainstream-ness and bubble-gum-ness – for lack of a better term – is quietly subversive.”
On a specific scene in the movie: “There’s a scene where Simon is talking with the openly gay kid at his school, who checks all the boxes of what someone might think when they think of a gay character, and I think it’s a beautiful moment of reckoning between the two. They both acknowledge one another and they both acknowledge that they’re different and that’s ok. There isn’t one way someone is supposed to be.”
The 5th Wave actor and the 13 Reasons Why star attended the event on Monday (March 19) in Sydney, Australia.
Nick donned a white t-shirt, tan jacket, rolled-up blue jeans, and brown shoes.
Katherine looked chic in an all-black ensemble featuring a sheer polka-dot blouse, finishing off her look with bright red lipstick, silver earrings, and an elegant ponytail.

Nick Robinson may be a big movie star now, but he’s staying humble by still living with a roommate and sharing a bathroom!
The 22-year-old Love, Simon star opened up about having a roommate for the first time during his interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday (March 15) in Hollywood.
“He’s my first roommate ever so there’s been a bit of a learning curve trying to learn the ropes a bit,” Nick said, adding that he’s trying to figure that all out.
Nick said that sharing a bathroom has been the “worst part” of the experience as his roommate has a big beard and he’s constantly pulling hair out of the shower drain!

Nick Robinson is opening up about his brother, who came out just as he started filming his new movie Love, Simon.
The 22-year-old actor talked about how the movie helped him talk to his brother while making an appearance on The Ellen Show on Wednesday (March 14).
“He came out right around the same time we started filming. I think he had been dealing with this for a long time. The timing was sort of coincidental,” Nick explained.
He continued, “One of the best things that came out of this movie was just being able to talk to him and I think the strength of a film like this is it starts conversations. I hope it can do that for more people.”
