iZombie's Rose McIver & Rahul Kohli Dish On Whether We'll Find Out Who Stole the Cure

If you remember, Ravi brilliantly came up with a cure for zombieism on iZombie — however, that cure was stolen, and the culprit is still at large.

While the original plan was for Ravi and Liv to find out the thief’s identity at the end of last season, it got pushed to season 4…and it looks like we’ll be finding out sometime soon.

“It’s not as quick as you think. It doesn’t happen quickly,” Rahul Kohli, who plays Ravi, shared with CBR.

Even more, he was surprised as to who the thief actually was too: “I didn’t see it coming. I went back, as I kind of breezed over, and I was like ‘Hmmm? No.’ And I went back, and, yeah, that was a big shock…it’s kind of stupid…It fits so well, I feel stupid that I was shocked, but I was shocked.”

Rose McIver adds that the reveal is “very important in the bigger picture of the show.”

“I feel like, ultimately, [my character] Liv wants to be cured. It’s hard because I think she found her purpose through being a zombie, but, the inability to have children, or to have to eat brains of people who have died for a living for her is clearly not the long game,” she continues. “They are very game to find out who stole the cure…[But] it becomes more so, later, throughout the arc this year.”

Tune into tonight’s all-new episode @ 9PM ET/PT on The CW.

Rose McIver Will Be A Rap Star In 'iZombie' Season Four

Most of us would take one look at Rose McIver and say that she isn’t the type of person to love rap music — but then, you’d be wrong.

In a new interview talking about her series, iZombie, the actress was talking about an upcoming episode where she has “rap brain”, and revealed that she’s always been a huge fan of rap music.

“I still do enjoy really good rap music, but I had a phase as a teenager when I got really into it and thought I could rap myself,” Rose says to Collider. “I was definitely not a good rapper.”

Her love of the music actually helped her with this particular brain too, for the show.

“I definitely had listened to a lot and have a fairly good understanding of it and reference points,” she says. “I worked a little bit with friends I knew. Again, on this show, we don’t really get a lot of time to prep, so there wasn’t a way to do a rapping boot camp or anything. Good conversations with people who knew a lot more than I did about the field.”

Rose adds. “It’s cool. We want to have a little bit of a twinkle in our eye about it the whole time. I don’t want Liv to be a bad rapper, but I also want it to be clear that it’s not something she would naturally have had a grasp of.”

iZombie returns for its’ fourth season on Monday, February 26th on The CW.

iZombie's Rose McIver Teases New Love Interest For Liv

Spoilers are rolling in for iZombie, which is back on Monday on The CW.

The first being that Liv is getting a new boyfriend for season four!

“She gets a new boyfriend, at some point, during the season,” Rose McIver confirmed in a new interview. “His name is Levon.”

She adds that his name particularly excited her because “their ship name would be Livon, which was clearly no accident knowing our writers.”

Here’s what she dished about Levon: “He’s completely different to her boyfriends we’ve met in the past. I fear for his safety, as I do for all Liv’s love interests. It’s different, it’s new and he’s a documentary filmmaker. It’s a version of a person Liv connects with that we haven’t seen before, which is cool.”

iZombie returns on Monday, February 26th @ 9PM ET/PT on The CW.
