Sadie Stanley is mourning the loss of her beloved cat Jasper.
The 17-year-old Kim Possible actress took to Instagram on Friday (August 23) to reveal the sad news.
“My precious baby has passed away too young due to a genetic heart disease,” she captioned the slideshow below. “Hard to explain how much I loved this cat and how heartbreaking this is.”
“I loved jasper more than most things,” she continued. “I know everyone says this about their pet but he was a really special animal, totally one of a kind.”
“He brought me and my family so much joy and I miss him so so much already,” she added.
Just five days ago, Sadie shared another post with the caption, “Took Jasper on his first car ride the other day.”

Sadie Stanley is opening up about her interest in the climate crisis.
The 17-year-old Kim Possible actress urged her followers to get involved and educated about climate change.
“I guess it was cut out for time or cohesiveness, but I was really sad to see that because that rule was the one I felt the most strongly about,” she shared on Instagram. “It was about reducing/cutting global carbon dioxide and greenhouse emissions, which are hitting an all-time high. I’ve always found it scary to talk publicly about world issues or more controversial subjects but that isn’t helping anyone.”
“The Climate Crisis is real and it’s scary,” Sadie continued. “I just wanted to include this and encourage all of you to educate yourselves on climate change and it effects, as well as what you can do in your own life to help. I’m continuing to do this as well.”

Sadie Stanley and Ciara Riley Wilson brought Kim Possible to the Disney Channel Fan Fest!
The co-stars stepped out at the event on Saturday afternoon (April 27) at Disney California Adventure park in Anaheim, Calif.

They were also joined by their cast mates Sean Giambrone and Issac Ryan Brown.
During the afternoon, the group got to meet some of their biggest fans and explore the park.
“We met some incredible people,” Ciara said on her Instagram story.
Sadie added, “It was really actually super, super fun and it was so nice to meet you guys and hug you and take a picture with you. Love you!”

Sadie Stanley had a pretty cool moment this weekend – she went to prom!
The Kim Possible star joined her sister Sophie, as well as a group of friends for the big day, including her own date Connor.
“Ik Ik this is an excessive amount of photos but idc cause it was a great day ok!!!” she captioned a set of photos.
The week before, Sadie joined her KP co-star Ciara Riley Wilson as her date at the A Friend In Me’s “Lets Glow Crazy†Prom event for the Miller Children’s Hospital in California.
Sadie also celebrated Ciara‘s birthday with the b-day girl herself at Disneyland!
“I’m a day late cause I was too busy loving every second of celebrating w u and so many people who adore you! happy birthday! You’re an absolute gem of a human being and you mean more to me than you knowâ¤ï¸ u deserve the world, I love you!” she wrote on Instagram.
Ciara Riley Wilson looked so pretty at A Friend In Me’s “Lets Glow Crazy†Prom event last weekend.
The Kim Possible star, who played Athena in the live-action movie, wore a lovely floral dress for the event. She also brought her Kim Possible co-star Sadie Stanley as her date!
“The Let’s Glow Crazy themed Prom was a magical night where teens and young adults who are current or former cancer patients at Miller Children’s Hospital experienced a special evening of dancing, food, and prom festivities,” Ciara told JJJ about the event, which is super close to her heart.
She adds, “This is the second year I have attended the Prom, organized by the amazing volunteer group A Friend in Me. It was a blast to see familiar faces and also make new friends. I even got to crown the beautiful Prom King and Queen for the night.”
“It was great to see the guests so happy knowing that they had been through so much. The Prom was an incredible night of fun for everyone.”
A Friend In Me is a 100% volunteer powered nonprofit, which brings normalcy to pediatric cancer patients through social events at local hospitals.
