Zendaya has some sweet words for her friend and co-star Timothee Chalamet once again!

The 24-year-old Emmy award winning actress took to her Instagram story to wish the now 25-year-old actor a “Happy Birthday” on Sunday (December 27).

“Happy birthday to one of the coolest mf on the planet,” she wrote. “This may not be as eloquent as he would say it, but the love is just as real. It’s an honor to watch his talents at work but even more of an honor to be able to call him a friend.”

“Essentially, he’s the sh-t. Hope it’s a beautiful one @tchalamet,” Zendaya added.

She chose a photo from behind the scenes of their upcoming film Dune, which was recently announced to be getting a theatrical and HBO Max dual release.

One of the production companies behind the movie might sue Warner Bros for making that release plan.

Warner Bros has made a huge announcement today (December 3)!

The film studio revealed that it’s ENTIRE slate of 2021 releases will simultaneously premiere in theaters and HBO Max.

They’ve already previously announced that that is what’s going to happen with Wonder Woman 1984, and have now decided to do that with the rest of their films.

“After considering all available options and the projected state of moviegoing throughout 2021, we came to the conclusion that this was the best way for WarnerMedia’s motion picture business to navigate the next 12 months,” WarnerMedia CEO Jason Kilar said in a statement. “More importantly, we are planning to bring consumers 17 remarkable movies throughout the year, giving them the choice and the power to decide how they want to enjoy these films. Our content is extremely valuable, unless it’s sitting on a shelf not being seen by anyone. We believe this approach serves our fans, supports exhibitors and filmmakers, and enhances the HBO Max experience, creating value for all.”

A new teaser trailer was just released for the first special episode of Euphoria!

Zendaya of course stars in the first one, along with co-star Colman Domingo, which is simply titled “Part 1: Rue.”

Series creator Sam Levinson wrote and directed the first part.

Here’s a synopsis: In the aftermath of being left by Jules at the train station and relapsing, the first special episode follows Rue (Zendaya) as she celebrates Christmas.

A lot of fans are pointing out that in the teaser clip, it says “Emmy award winner Zendaya,” after her first Emmy win for her role as Rue.

The special episodes were revealed to be premiering in December back in October. Zendaya also previously shared that there were ideas for “bridge episodes” to come out, that aren’t part of the upcoming second season.

Part one of the Euphoria special episodes will premiere on Sunday (December 6) at 9pm ET/PT on HBO!

Zendaya‘s upcoming new film Malcolm & Marie just got a premiere date!

The 24-year-old teamed up with Euphoria creator Sam Levinson and John David Washington for the movie, which they created, produced and filmed while in quarantine, over the course of two weeks.

“Now my heart is racing, so much excitement in it,” Zendaya tweeted along with the date announcement. See below!

Malcolm & Marie is an achingly romantic drama in which a filmmaker (Washington) and his girlfriend (Zendaya) return home following a celebratory movie premiere as he awaits what’s sure to be imminent critical and financial success. The evening suddenly takes a turn as revelations about their relationships begin to surface, testing the strength of their love.

The new movie will premiere on February 5, 2021 on Netflix!

Zendaya recently opened up about trying to stay creative during quarantine earlier this year.

The 24-year-old Euphoria actress took part in a conversation with Adobe CMO Ann Lewnes for Adobe Max, and revealed some things she tried.

“Staying creative wasn’t necessarily easy. I tried a lot of different things. I tried painting, I tried teaching myself the piano,” Zendaya shared.

She then dished on the movie, Malcolm & Marie, that she filmed during quarantine with Euphoria creator Sam Levinson and John David Washington, which has been picked up by Netflix.

“We were able to do a movie during quarantine, something that I’m most proud of,” she said. “It pushed me to trust myself when it comes to my creative instincts…and trust the feeling of knowing if something is good. I like to stay inspired and compelled to create something.”

“We made a small movie in a tiny bubble safely with people who were out of work,” Zendaya added. “We had a small crew in a home; no one was able to go anywhere. Everyone did four jobs at once. There was no script supervisor or AD; I had to do my own hair and makeup….it was a beautiful experience to workshop something.”

Zendaya is currently back in full action, getting to work on the third Spider-Man movie!

Even though these aren’t set photos or anything, the 24-year-old actress’ arrival in Atlanta means that the next Spider-Man movie is about to begin filming!

Zendaya was spotted stepping off a private plane in Georgia on Monday afternoon (October 26).

The upcoming movie is a sequel to Spider-Man: Far From Home and will also star Tom Holland as the title character, along with Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange. It was recently confirmed that Jamie Foxx will be returning as Electro, a villain he played in The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

There have been rumors that two very exciting actors might be involved in the upcoming project, but these reports have not yet been confirmed.

The movie is expected to be released in theaters on December 17, 2021, but release dates continue to change amid the pandemic.

Zendaya just shared some exciting news on social media!

The 24-year-old actress announced that two special episodes of Euphoria will be out, with the first one airing in December.

“We really missed them. Two special Euphoria episodes coming soon. First one December 6th on @hbo,” she captioned an image of an eye.

No exact synopsis has been revealed, but it looks like one of them will be about the pandemic.

Back in August, Zendaya shared that they were looking into making a couple of bridge episodes that won’t be part of season two, and it looks they made it happen!

“There is an idea to do a couple of bridge episodes that can be shot safely but aren’t necessarily part of Season 2,” she said. “So, hopefully, we will be able to do those in the coming months. I can’t wait.”
