Ariana Grande and her longtime, childhood bestie Alexa Luria are no longer friends.

Fans noticed that the 26-year-old “7 Rings” singer had unfollowed her friend on Instagram and took to Twitter to inquire about it.

“everything okay? saw you unfollowed a friend.. @ArianaGrande,” one fan wrote.

“sometimes people outgrow each other no matter how much they love one another or how much history is there. hopefully it’s temporary. 🖤,” Ariana responded.

“all i ask is that y’all please not get involved or send anything negative her way. want to get ahead of that,” she added.

Ariana reiterated that she still wants to protect Alexa and asked that if anyone saw people being mean, to ask them not to be.

“just trying to protect her also,” she replied to another tweet. “if you see anyone doing that at any point please ask them kindly not to.”

The wait is over – Ariana Grande has dropped her highly anticipated “Thank U, Next” music video!

The singer shared the visual with fans on Friday (November 30).

In it, she pays tribute to some of her favorite movies – Mean Girls, 13 Going on 30, Legally Blonde, and Bring It On.

The video stars Mean Girls‘ own Jonathan Bennett as Aaron Samuels, Elizabeth Gillies as Cady Heron, Alexa Luria as Karen Smith, Courtney Chipolone as Gretchen Wieners, Troye Sivan, Colleen Ballinger, Gabi DeMartino, Kris Jenner, Legally Blonde‘s Jennifer Coolidge, and more.

Ariana teased the video with a chat and countdown ahead of the premiere.

“Hello @vevo @youtube can we have the #thankunextvideo early please?” she tweeted in response to a fan. “Anele needs to go to sleep. Let us know what you can do please. Thank you so much.”

“I wanna be regina everyday,” Ariana added, along with “Can i drop another song after this i’m bored.”

Ariana Grande is not afraid of a little, well, a lot of rain!

The 25-year-old singer took a walk through the pouring rain with her best friends Doug Middlebrook and Alexa Luria on Tuesday afternoon (September 18) in New York City.

The trio of friends, joined by a bodyguard, stopped by a Starbucks for their caffeine fix.

Ariana was slated to attend the Emmys the night before with her fiance Pete Davidson to support his show Saturday Night Live, but they decided to stay in New York in light of everything going on in their lives these days. Read the statement released by her rep.
