The Summer of Disney+ continues with the just announced Diary of a Future President season two premiere!
The streaming service just shared a new video with star Tess Romero, announcing when the upcoming episodes will debut.

It’s official – Diary of a Future President is coming back for season two!
Disney+ just announced that the series has been renewed for a 10-episode second season.
“Optimistic, heartfelt stories that inspire are fundamental to our content and creator Ilana Peña’s series delivers on these attributes in spades,†Agnes Chu, senior vice president, Content, Disney+, said in a statement. “Families around the world have fallen in love with Elena and the Cañero-Reed family and we are thrilled to bring Elena’s often hilarious and always meaningful journey through adolescence back for another season. It has been wonderful to partner with the extraordinary Gina Rodriguez to champion specific, diverse points-of-view and we look forward to seeing even more of President Cañero-Reed in this next chapter.â€

Season two will feature more of Executive Producer Gina Rodriguez as the adult Elena, the future President of the United States, in a recurring guest role.
Diary of a Future President stars Tess Romero as Elena Cañero-Reed, along with Charlie Bushnell as Bobby, Selenis Leyva as Gabi and Michael Weaver as Sam.
Siena Agudong, Ruby Rose Turner and Ava Kolker hit the carpet at the Stargirl premiere held at the El Capitan Theatre on Tuesday (March 10) in Hollywood.
The actresses were just a few of the Disney Channel and Disney+ stars that showed their support for the new movie.
Siena‘s Upside Down Magic co-stars Max Torina and Alison Fernandez, Diary of a Future President‘s Charlie Bushnell, Just Roll With It‘s Ian Reed Kessler and Sophie Michelle, and Everything’s Gonna Be Okay‘s Maeve Press and Kayla Cromer stepped out.
From Stargirl, Shelby Simmons, John Apolinar, Alex James, Collin Blackford, Allison Wentworth, Maximiliano Hernández, and Gabriella Surodjawan were all in attendance to premiere their new movie.
Also showing their support were Sofie Dossi, Nia Sioux, Sophie Reynolds, Hayden Summerall, and Bryce Xavier.

Charlie Bushnell is stealing hearts on Disney+’s newest series Diary of a Future President!
The young actor, who is no stranger to the entertainment world as he comes from a very talented family, stars as Bobby Cañero-Reed in the show, the older brother to Tess Romero‘s Elena.
JJJ recently got to know Charlie with some fun facts, including his favorite TV show, which is the reason why he got into acting, and even that his middle name was named after a legendary musician!

Tess Romero and Gina Rodriguez snap a fun photo together at the premiere of their new series Diary of a Future President held at Arclight Cinemas on Tuesday (January 14) in Hollywood.
The two ladies play the younger and older version of the main character, Elena. Gina also serves as an executive producer.
Also in attendance were their co-stars Carmina Garay, Selenis Leyva, Charlie Bushnell, Sean Glasgow, Nathan Arenas, Tiernan Jones, Jessica Marie Garcia, Harmeet Pandey, Jazzy Jade, Kyan Zielinski, Travis Burnett, Michael Weaver, Brandon Severs, and Chiara D’Ambrosio.
Ariana Greenblatt, Dara Renee, Rachel Bloom, and Gina‘s husband Joe Locicero also stepped out to show their support.

The upcoming Disney+ series is “told from the narration of her diary, follows 12-year-old Cuban-American Elena (Romero) as she navigates the ups and downs of middle school and begins her journey to become the future president of the United States. Unabashed, semi-dweeby, ultra-observant and with a strong point of view, she walks through the world with purpose and confidence.”
Gina Rodriguez stars as the future president, with Selenis Leyva, Michael Weaver and Charlie Bushnell also starring.
Diary of a Future President premieres on Friday, January 17th on Disney+.
