Katie Cassidy is coming back to Arrow, but in a different way than you might think.

According to THR, she will in fact be a series regular once again – as Laurel’s evil Earth-2 doppelgänger Black Siren.

“One of the things that most excites us about Arrow is that we go where the story takes us,” executive producer Marc Guggenheim said. “Last year, the story took us to the tragic death of Laurel Lance. This year, our midseason finale reintroduced us to Laurel’s doppelgänger, Black Siren. We were so taken by Katie‘s fearless interpretation of this character that we knew her story was not yet finished. We couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome Katie back to Arrow as Black Siren, though as her appearances on Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow this season show, she never really left the family.”

Arrow airs Wednesdays @ 8PM on The CW.

Remember when we heard the big news that Katie Cassidy would be a series regular across ALL of the DC shows on The CW? Well, it looks like that’s changed.

The actress, who portrayed Laurel Lance on flagship show Arrow, might not be returning to the DC Universe for a while.

“We have an idea for how to see her again, but we haven’t made a deal with her yet,” producer Marc Guggenheim shared at a recent press event.

“She’s not a series regular anymore, so we have to make a contract with her and she’s got to be available, and we haven’t had those conversations,” he confirmed.

So does that mean Laurel, and even her alter egos Black Siren/Canary, are gone for good? Not yet.

“We do have an idea [how to bring her back]. We know exactly what we do want to do,” he added.

It would be so wrong not to have her back!

It was a Pretty Little Liars reunion at Entertainment Weekly’s Celebration of SAG Award Nominees party last night (January 28) in Los Angeles.

Troian Bellisario and Lucy Hale met up inside the bash looking amazing as always and made all our Sparia hearts so happy.

“Sparia forever. But even more so #trucyforever,” Lucy shared on her Instagram.

Troian, with her new short hair, was also spotted with her new hubby, Suits actor Patrick J. Adams inside the bash.

Siblings Rico and Raini Rodriguez, The Flash‘s Candice Patton and Danielle Panabaker, Katie Cassidy, Daniel Gillies, Annalise Basso, Tahj Mowry, and Kiersey Clemons were also spotted inside.

Laurel Lance did indeed return to Star City on Arrow last night…it just wasn’t the Laurel that we all knew.

Instead of being the same Laurel (played by Katie Cassidy) we saw die at the end of season four (who we all hoped it actually was), this Laurel was actually Earth-2′s Black Siren!

During the episode, (and after Felicity caught the deception) Black Siren explained that she had come after Team Arrow because of big bad Prometheus as he was threatening her life.

So, after trying to kill Felicity (don’t you dare!), she’s locked up at a secure A.R.G.U.S. facility.

“The episode ends with laying a very specific seed with a very specific game plan on our part that we hope to see come to fruition,” EP Marc Guggenheim shared with EW after the episode aired. What does that even mean?!

Rip Hunter is back — and he has absolutely no clue who the Legends of Tomorrow are!

Arthur Darvill will make his return later this month on the show as the captain, returning from filming another show in the UK.

“They were very kind on Legends - Broadchurch is something that’s been going on for a while, so they had to work around that,” Arthur revealed in a recent interview of his absence from the CW show. “I was so pleased to finish off that journey on Broadchurch.”

But what about his return as Rip? “Yeah, I do come back, in some way, to Legends of Tomorrow… but I can’t talk about that! I always work on shows that you’re not allowed to bloody talk about…”

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will make it’s winter premiere on January 24th @ 9PM ET/PT on the CW.

Dove Cameron looks stunning as she arrives for the Amazon Studios Golden Globes Celebration following the 2017 Golden Globes held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday evening (January 8) in Beverly Hills, Calif.
